2. CARE AND SUPPORT OF FAMILIES

With or without the pandemic, there will always be people who find it hard to make ends meet. The current pandemic has only made the situation worse. LCCS provides food packs to families every month. These families continue to receive support from us until they are back on their feet. LCCS is there to bring them a little sunshine, love and care through the support we give.

3. COMMUNITY NEEDS AND DISASTER RESPONSE

LCCS is also involved in supporting the needs of the community and in the provision of support for victims of disasters. We have a wide range of activities from support of the National Blood Bank, Support to Frontliners, Flood Food and Fund Relief, and the current Food Bank to support the covid-19 impacted families. As the situation in the country becomes dire, the community needs are growing. We try and meet these needs through the funds we raise. Any help you provide us will mean a lot to the community.

4. SKILLS TRAINING AND SUPPORT

Talent and skills development is a necessity when seeking employment, career advancement as well as personal development. We are open to individuals, agencies or NGOs who would like to provide training probono encompassing any age group. It would make more economic sense for us to teach them to fish, than to continue providing for them indefinitely. Hence, we are open to support in form of microfinancing of individuals with a small seed fund to get them started on a trade. We welcome further discussion on skills training or microfinancing opportunities to deserving individuals.

FUND GENERATION

LCCS runs on the generosity of church members and the general public. In addition to specific fundraising activities, the LCCS is open for continuous support from generous souls who keep our community outreach going.
